Client Background
Having run Oza Chemist for 20 years the clients contacted Rapeed Design to get some ideas for a refit. As a family run business the client required the help of a pharmacy shopfitter that understood the changing nature of pharmacy.
Points of note
Making a decision to go through with a full pharmacy design and fit-out is never easy, but it makes all the difference when the process is made simple. After some months of deliberation, the Oza family contacted Rapeed Design for a pharmacy design and fit-out consultation. It was clear that the chemist required updating.
At the first consultation it became apparent the Oza family wanted to create a feeling of openness. The key aim for this pharmacy design and fit out would be to encourage more walk-ins, achieve over the counter sales with visible pmed lines and add key pharmacy services.
With high street pharmacy changing it became more apparent that a full pharmacy refit was required so the Rapeed Design drawings, design and branding service was enlisted to help to capture and visualise the client's requirements. The pharmacy dispensary was reviewed and the flow and storage were assessed. A larger, lower and curved pharmacy counter was designed with more bespoke pharmacy furniture to create a clear view of key product lines.
To bolster services a new consultation room was put into the pharmacy design with a colour scheme to match the branding and newly designed logo.
Cost effective pharmacy ceiling and flooring options were built in to offer longevity. The lighting installed enhanced the pharmacy's stock lines which were previously available but never visible for patients and customers to purchase.
The Oza family are really pleased with their pharmacy design and refit. Shoppers and patient users walking into the pharmacy have been very impressed sharing positive comments about the colour scheme, the openness, the quality and the feeling of space. 'Everybody is so pleased,' says Mrs Oza, 'When they enter they say wow, what have you done?!'
'We are also very pleased with it,' adds Mr Oza.
